I have now worked at Core Controls for the best part of 2 years where I have accelerated my skills in engineering and team work massively. I am now proficient in driving MEWPS, I’m ECS certified and also have earned my SSSTS certification. At CCS I have also become a skilled PLC programmer, installer and maintainer - with my crowning achievement being programming and installing a VMS at Meir Tunnel. I am currently working on a CCTV replacement project, where I have taken part in programming and installing a camera network system.I worked at Miller and Carter for over 2 years alongside being a student, it has taught me the value of working with a large team, with all members being from different cultures and backgrounds. It has also allowed me to understand the ways of working for a company that is considered a premium brand, and the standards that must be upheld there.Before Miller and Carter, I worked at a local garden centre near my hometown. Working here was my first introduction to a corporate styled setting, where I learned how to be punctual, organised and professional. One of my biggest achievements here was selling a record number of items from my department.
