I undertook the role of compliance officer after working for the company for 7 years due to my understanding of the industry and our business model as well as my ability to anaylse, understand and report to the board in a clear and concise manner.Responsibilities• Ensuring that the company remains compliant at all times by continually updating our policies and procedures in line with the Financial Conduct Authorities Handbook.• Reporting directly to the Directors and the board.• Working with the Directors and at board level in respect of the business direction, key decision making and regulatory implications.• Providing statistical data through the use of MySql reporting from our client database to better understand client demographics and how this information can be used to further improve company profitability as well as clients needs and requirements.• Producing Management Information to ensure that our clients are experiencing the best level of services whilst ensuring that our own targets and expectations, as well as those of the regulator, are being met.• Undertaking the reconciliation of our clients bank account and our Case Management Software to ensure adherence to the Financial Conduct Authorities CASS requirements.• Working with the managing director in respect of advertising campaigns, this includes management of their online advertising campaigns, organizing new field advertising campaigns including the design, purchase and use of advertising material (Upright banners, information leaflets etc.) and ongoing client based advertising to keep them aware of the products and services that we can provide to them.
