Starting with simple legos all the way to designing and building my own home computer. This passion for design and working towards a developed goal has pushed me down this path my entire life. I am defined by the sum of my decisions and experiences to this point, and these have led me to this point. Where I am more than just a man sitting behind a computer but an engineer with a diverse and involved skill set.I have recently graduated from Michigan Technological University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and had many opportunities to get hands on experience:- In the Winter of 2018 I worked with a charity to aid in the development of glasses that would automatically adjust the focus based on distance from an object.- in the spring of 2019 I assisted SERC in the design and testing of a rechargeable battery that was superior to their current model.- in the winter of 2019 I worked with Eaton on their project to bring DC power lines to a localized area. I focused primarily on safety.- in the spring of 2020 I I designed electrical components on a self driving robot that utilized GPS to run an obstacle course. Similarly to my high school experience I was extremely active in co curricular involvement in the MTU community. Since week one on campus I was part of a few clubs and immediately looked into the enterprise program at the school and because of this involvement I am employed as the coach for one of the schools esports teams. The main skills that I developed in my time doing these activities are my abilities to lead and work within teams. I feel the utmost confidence in my experience to allow me to work with any group to develop communication, organization, collaboration, and leadership to the point of where I am doing it professionally as a coach at Michigan Tech.
