•Ensure all servers are backed up and support any faults on Microsoft DPM (Data Protection Management) and EMC Networker, including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, monitoring and testing of recovery procedures.•Support of specific infrastructure applications including Microsoft Server 2003/2008R2/2012R2, Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware VSphere, Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010/2013 and Storage Area Networking. •Manage Microsoft Active Directory (AD) creating and modifying GPOs (Group Policy objects) trouble shooting DHCP and DNS issues.•Building and configuring server templates using VMware and Hyper-V to allow for the quick deployment of standard virtual servers with the associated documentation for the standard configuration of SQL.•Building and configuring servers and supporting application owner and 3rd parties during installation.•Provide assistance and technical knowledge to aid implementation of projects.•Co-ordinates the identification and assessment of new and emerging infrastructure hardware, software products, methods and techniques.
