Leading a team of talented engineers within Electrical R&D to deliver PHEV & BEV power systems as part of Bentley's Beyond100 vision for luxury sustainability. Areas of responsibility include Charging & Charging Strategy, DC/DC Conversion & Power Electronics.

Technical lead for low volume and motorsport-derived concepts and projects including EV-conversion, low-volume coachbuilt vehicles and electrified motorsport categories. Working together with Technical Partners and suppliers in UK & EU to deliver unique vehicles for a VIP customer base.

Responsibilities include a variety of technical and homologation-related developments. This requires the need to work closely with external technical partners and internal commercial, styling and finance functions to support delivery of the motorsport project at Bentley.

Working on the Continental GT3 project on many different technical aspects, together with project technical partners. Areas of development include turbocharged Powertrain, Cooling and Charge Cooling Systems and Whole Vehicle liaison.Requirements to understand and develop all technical aspects of the project, including support to the Chief Designer and Motorsport Director where necessary to meet performance deliverables. Includes feedback from VW group component and system suppliers to ensure the race car homologation status is secured and technical goals are achieved.

Graduate Scheme with home function in Powertrain Department. Placements including Thermal Systems, Powertrain Development, Whole Vehicle Engineering & 3-month VW Group technical placement. Projects include Thermal Management systems development, CFD for front-end efficiency and cooling pack development.
