I am an experienced EAP teacher with substantial UK HE experience. I have worked for the last ten years at Queen Mary University of London (a Russell Group university) during a period of significant expansion in international student numbers and improvement in the overall student experience. While at Queen Mary I have gained experience of teaching and coordinating across all areas of EAP provision typical in a British university context and I believe I am confidently able to facilitate effective learning as appropriate for different cohorts. I am well-used to juggling multiple responsibilities and making effective use of available resources and opportunities to improve the student experience. I have a particular interest in developing transferable skills for foundation level students as well as promoting the effective use of VLEs for teaching and learning.
