Will is a Medical Device and Product Development Engineering Manager dedicated to improving quality of life through advancing technology. Most recently with GlySens, he has been involved in long term fully implantable continuous glucose monitor development. Starting with an electrical engineering background, Will has developed broad hands-on experience in prototyping, developing, testing and manufacturing Class III Active Implantable Medical Devices with 7 years in supervisory roles. Will has technical experience in electromechanical/software system integration and fabrication, test system design for oxygen-based biosensors, and system level low current/low power mixed-signal PCBA design, production, and testing. Will is adept at managing small teams and programs in a matrixed environment; collaborating with and growing a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and technicians to solve complex multi-faceted problems in fast-paced and dynamic work environments. Will enjoyed applying his affinity for organization, attention to detail, process improvement, efficiency, and adaptability to developing a functional two-year active implantable glucose sensor and looks forward to doing the same in future endeavors.
