The role involves managing several projects simultaneously and routine engagement with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Home Office and partner agencies to define and develop programmed activity. I have designed, produced and delivered protective security and emergency responder training products to many overseas government departments, emergency responders and the tourism sector. The programme is funded to develop and support overseas capability and capacity building in CT Protective security and Preparedness.

Key achievements include: -• developing the UK Police specialist multi-agency response to Marauding Terrorist Attack (MTA). • led the review of the Police non-specialist response guidance to IEDs & suspicious items. • led the review and nationalisation of the Terrorism Response guidance. Produced supporting material for UK communications strategy and promotion of product to Chief Officers• designed, produced, funded and coordinated the distribution of over 300k Terrorism Response action z-cards to all UK Police forces. These were issued to all Police first responders. The National Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters (NCTPHQ) is responsible for developing policy and strategy and providing a single national counter terrorism policing voice on behalf of the National Counter Terrorism Policing Network. The NCTPHQ also coordinates national projects and programmes, provides administrative and support services to the national network, advises the government on budgets and resourcing for counter terrorism policing in England and Wales.

Association of Chief Police Officers (Terrorism & Allied Matters)The role primarily focused on a national strategic and tactical engagement around the CT related military capability. I provided direction and advice to senior national police leads around the structures and capabilities of the military and de-conflicted police/military activities. The work included policy and procedure development such as, the Defence Contribution to Resilience (DCR), Military Aid to the Civil Authorities (MACA) and niche CT capabilities.

Role involved managing two teams of police investigators, risk assessing and providing investigation action plans direct post arrest. Making informed charging decisions for volume crime and written referrals for the Crown Prosecution Service for serious crime according to national guidance and legislation to maximise positive outcomes. Monitor the timely submission and quality assure all file types in accordance with legislation, force policy and procedure.
