I am currently a project manager/appraiser specializing in advisory and valuation services within the inventory segment of B. Riley Financial. My role involves working with wholesale and manufacturing companies in the United States, Canada, and the UK to understand their overall operations, including product lines, customer base, pricing development, vendor base, supply chain, and marketing strategies. Using data gathered from these companies, combined with knowledge gained from management discussions and interviews, financial analysis and modeling is conducted to assist company and client operations, borrowing, lending, and merger and acquisition efforts. My role has also resulted in extensive knowledge of various industries through meetings with industry experts, review of national publications, price tracking, and requires meetings and presentations to clients after the completion of engagements, as well as to the companies being appraised. Additional responsibilities include: -Managing upwards of 4-5 active appraisals per month across multiple industries, including building materials, consumer products, metals, textiles, chemicals, paper, and others-Compiling detailed reports of inventory appraisals with emphasis on USPAP compliance-Selling of services to potential clients discussing experience within various industries, appraisal process, and results of specific appraisals-Training of new hires on standard operating procedures and report compilation-Leading the building materials practice, reviewing and tracking commodity lumber prices, and first reference regarding potential business within the field
