I received an in-house promotion to do a combined role of Duty Manager and Leisure Supervisor following the experiences I gained as a Leisure Attendant with Four Pillars. Having worked across the majority of departments at both the Oxford Spires and Oxford Thames Hotel I have developed the key skills required for each department while taking an active interest in the leisure department by following a personal development plan which included both internal and external training. As a Duty Manager I am now responsible for the day to day running of the Hotel whilst providing exceptional customer service and helping both the staff and customers at the Hotel with any problems that they may have. I also ensure that the standards are at the optimal level at all times.As the Leisure Supervisor I am directly responsible for the day to day running of the Leisure Club and the staff in the Leisure department. I ensure that the club standards are kept to the highest standard at all times. It is also my responsibility to ensure we are reaching the required leisure and spa sales targets each month.

I was appointed to work in the leisure department due to both my academic and previous experience in the leisure industry. I am currently working towards my level 2 gym instructor qualification through the company, as well as working in other departments at the hotel with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

Safeguarding children and ensuring all policies and procedures are implemented and followed by all staff as well as providing exciting and engaging activities for children between the ages of 4 and 13.

Worked in every position for the company across a wide range of roles, including roller disco Marshall and play scheme instructor, before being promoted to play scheme manager for the summer after my studies in America.

I worked as a lifeguard, on the bar and in the reception departments of the center.

Provided friendly and efficient customer service.
