The technical scope of my groups work covers structural design as well as static and fatigue analysis.Work with the project engineers and fellow managers to ensure programs are staffed appropriately, adjusting when necessary to recover schedule or shift priorities. Drive the team to meet first time quality (FTQ) and on time delivery of project documents / milestones.Provide guidance / oversight to the team with regards to mechanical design and analysis, as well as presentations & documentation. Work with the project engineers and supply chain division to derive statements of work and engage with vendors. Serve on the structural review board to review design and analysis conclusions. Prepare and review customer and executive kick off and status briefings, including earned value performance metrics and recovery plans (as necessary).
