Month in and Month out, I was one of the Top Producing Govt. Contracting Consultant's in the building. I spent 4.5 yrs. teaching and providing small businesses with very pinpointed strategic marketing plans. I also reviewed their current situation. Graded how they looked on paper to a Procurement Specialist from DOD. Made sure they had all the proper documentation to compete for contract awards, such as full color Capability Statement with the 9 key informational elements that the Govt. is looking for. I also made sure they were properly registered with City, State, Local and federal Govt. Finally, I made sure that a GSA schedule was in place, if they qualified for it My company then provided them with a super scrubbed list of all the potential buyers from Military and Civilian Agencies. My specialty was working with the Service Disabled Veterans and the Woman Owned Businesses. My company taught them how to take advantage of the set-aside funds that the Govt. spends on Veteran and Woman owned small businesses through out the US. I left this job to pursue my dream job, being a Commercial Mortgage Broker and being mentored by one of the most intelligent and influential mortgage minds left in the business, Mr. Mitchell Freifeld. Back in 2007, Mitch was responsible for over 3000 loans a month and owned the 3rd largest Mortgage Branch Company in the US.
