Started SpingbokIT from scratch with our founder to focus specifically on Apps Dev in DFW. Built team of 5 and went from "What should we name it?" to contract and perm billables in 7 months. Most of our clients are product companies or brick and mortar corporations who totally rely on enterprise applications. We recruit on a few platforms in particular, .NET, Java, end-to-end JS (Angular/React/Vue/Node) and Mobile (iOS/Android/Xamarin/Ionic). Don't need a full stack developer? We handle UI and back-end engineering as separate disciplines evaluating both portfolios and SQL skills. Ultimately I’m in charge of recruiting delivery, we are a large branch and have been the top performer in the Modis family for the past two years. Started on one side of the desk as a BDM (sales), got promoted in under a year to a Director role on the recruiting side. Because of my full desk experience and particular technical knowledge of apps dev, Modis leadership uses me in a bunch of different capacities. • Sales: I brought in our 3rd largest client as a BDM and still manage that account as it grows. I’m heavily involved in qualifying the new positions our sales team brings in and regularly meet with technical managers in person to accurately qualify requirements. I’ll act as a medic for accounts that have lost their way and need to be re-qualified. • Training: I’m a member of our Modis Training Committee, I train at the branch level and nationwide for both Modis and Adecco. There may be 5 – 2000 people on any given WebEx class, new hires on both the sales and recruiting side go through my Apps Dev Architecture & .NET training specifically. I can take a training need, design content, create content, deliver content, reinforce and report. I love that Modis utilizes me this way, it’s the super funnest part of my job.• Regional: I go to other Modis branches as needed to sit down with key clients and make sure we take a comprehensive job order, then turn around and train RDMs on recruiting for that particular need. I contribute regularly to bids and proposals for the many projects Modis has in our business development pipeline. I help our largest contact center in Denver hire sourcers and recruiters.

We have an amazing recruiting team that allows me to focus on the one thing I do best, building dev teams for companies that really understand the importance of hiring the right coders and architects. *I'm specifically looking for new clients right now with openings on the .NET stack, web environments utilizing JS frameworks like Angular & Bootstrap, Java shops, companies that live or die by hiring top UI/UX developers and designers, mobile squads with web (HTML5/CSS3) and native needs (iOS/Android), and dev teams maximizing Open Source tech like PHP & Ruby.

I help my fellow TRG managers make our recruiters as effective as possible through an understanding that headhunting is all about sales, relationships and listening. We focus on specific tech platforms to gain an edge and expertise over general IT firms, our recruiters are knowledgeable advisors rewarded on performance vs. resume' shuffling customer service agents. Turning hungry newb salespeople into real deal headhunters who can service those top 10% positions that make postings and job boards useless is my favorite thing to do.

I manage a team of specialty 'dev-cenrtric' recuiters with a 100% focus on software. We work with progressive companies doing big stuff on the internet like Fossil and Match.com. I'm also a full desk headhunter/biz developer that loves searching for candidates just as much as winning new clients, this will continue until the zombie apocalypse.

MacArthur was an N-tier style office with three specialized teams specializing in .NET, Java/J2EE and Network/Infrastructure positions for the DFW area. Primary focus was on full life cycle .NET developers and architects doing enterprise level development of both web and client server solutions. The primary methodology at MacArthur which I use as my platform to this very day is brokering relationships between hard to find passive candidates and the clients with mission critical needs who appreciate meeting them.
