• Serve as the account lead for the Carlex Glass America account. Oversee the Supply Chain and Logistics activities at the Nashville location and the aftermarket location in Lebanon, TN• Carrier Procurement for short and long term initiatives set by Carlex; identify transportation requirements, negotiate rates using current market data, and provide contractual rate sheets to ensure cost targets are met• Claims management and recovery for LTL and truckload; collaborate with other Carlex partners to ensure all claims are recovered, tracked, and reported• Continuously work with shipping and receiving teams, as well as other plant personnel to promote continuous improvement and eliminate waste• Identify freight savings opportunities by consolidating intra plant requirements and creating milk runs for outbound shipments• Prepare, report, and track monthly cost savings and avoidances to ensure Carlex maintains its desired financial performance

• Served as lead Engineer for the group. Oversee the production and output of 4-5 other employees on 1st and 2nd shift• Worked jointly with other Ryder team members onsite at customer facility, along with customer reps to acquire data needed to create predetermined routing scenarios• Utilization of Microsoft Excel and Access to transform customer data into routing files. Perform feasibility testing and route optimization using the routing software ILPS and Appian Direct Route• Using the final product from routing to create and upload trips into TMW/SCOS, also providing DOT ready information to dedicated drivers and their OBC’s • Collaborate with various dedicated accounts to provide data analysis and develop metrics/KPI’s on a weekly basis to ensure continuous improvement• Held accountable for process improvement and documentation on all tasks assigned to the group – Mentoring and coaching all employees to keep them up to date on all processes assigned

• Collaborate with large intermodal container suppliers to effectively reduce repositioning costs….move surplus inventories from East coast to West coast • Work closely with multiple rail roads in US and Canada to obtain waybill and pickup information for customer and carriers• Work closely with container depots to ensure supplier release numbers are received in a timely manner to help meet pickup deadlines• Effectively monitor container status to ensure timely returns in order to meet revenue goals• Steady updating of routes and rate information in CAS (Cooperative Access System) to provide accurate rail billing information to customers• Perform website training for various carriers to ensure pickup/delivery documents are uploaded in order to process payments/ other invoices in a timely fashion

• Logistical planning/cost savings analysis at all Southeast production facilities within Daimler Trucks – North America’s (Freightliner) network• Supervising the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods• Analyzing data to monitor supplier and carrier performance and plan improvements and demand• Acquire and analyze the accuracy of parts and packaging data to support the correct utilization of trailers for inbound/outbound shipments• Liaising and negotiating with carriers and suppliers analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions• Gathering of load audits to coordinate multi-stop lanes to reduce transportation cost for inbound and outbound shipments• Schedule weekly pickup and deliveries and make adjustments due to holidays/shutdown periods
