I am a governmental environmental research and advisory scientist experienced in advising national governments, and international management and advisory bodies on issues related to environmental policy, climate change, biodiversity, fisheries management, and marine ecosystems .I have extensive programme leadership experience, leading and coordinating teams to provide advice in support of applied environmental management challenges. I have led and worked in multinational teams and international organisations, including having published scientific papers with authors from across 5 continents.I have lead strategy development for the implementation of national marine environmental management plans and organisational research activities.My technical background is in marine ecosystem ecology with an emphasis on climate change, biodiversity, fisheries and trade-offs between human objectives for the environment.
