Under a continued secondment assignment with Snowy Hydro Limited as an Asset Engineer with coverage across all NSW, VIC, and SA sites.In this role I am responsible for the viability and long-term integrity of all auxiliary plant equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring that effective strategies and plans are in place to achieve ongoing safety and reliability targets as well as complying with all regulatory obligations. Also critical is the ability to manage asset health and safety risks via implementation of robust mitigation strategies. Key Responsibilities:• Provide technical and engineering advice to the business on auxiliary plant issues and maintain current knowledge of industry practices to drive improvements trends. • Provision of Engineering and Asset Management Standards for the safe and effective management of equipment.• Establish and continually improve the Asset Health & Asset Risk processes.• Engage and manage expert and commercially sound external delivery partners.• Assure the business that major asset risks are effectively identified and assessed, and controls are put in place to ensure they are working effectively. • Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of processes, tools, and systems.• Ensure safe and reliable asset performance through effective leadership of integrity management programs on nominated assets.

I am responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with strategic clients whilst providing technical capability within the business. In this role I am part of the national asset management leadership team who are responsible for the performance of the business unit.
