My interests in creative problem solving and design led me to a field that is equipped to evaluate problems and propose solutions using the spatial and the theoretical in unison. With a background in food systems planning, construction, GIS, permaculture, and programmatic data analysis, my career in landscape architecture allows me to bridge disciplines and work effectively within the pressing social and environmental challenges of our time.On a lighter note, I spend as much time as I can on trails by foot and on two wheels. Some days, if I'm feeling spunky, I even stray from the trails. Biking, tinkering, and playing/listening to music are my entry points to the flow state, and my favorite scent is sun-warmed temperate rainforest in the middle of a long summer day.
