Originally from Ayr, Scotland, I am passionate about security, safeguarding and developing people and business. I have utilised my police career experience to build Blue 9 Security Ltd to very high standards of professionalism. We produce a high calibre, well-trained security workforce. We invest in our teams personal development and on-going training for career and company growth.I joined Strathclyde Police Force aged 16 as a cadet. Working across a variety of rolesincluding community patrols, A&E response, social services and rapid response vehicles, including an extended period with the Northern Constabulary (the UK’s largest geographic Police Force).I worked all of my 20 years within the Police in operational units, including Public Order units,Mountain Rescue and Skymount Rescue until retiring in 2000.I worked as a specialist security consultant for universities and FM companies before launchingBlue 9 Security Ltd in 2006. The company has grown from strength to strength, partnering withLondon Borough of Barnet to deliver all the authority physical security services including mannedsecurity at offices & libraries, specialist social services support, public events and key-holding/alarmresponse.
