Hi, I’m Will. They gave me the call sign “Dirty” during my Active Duty days but, that’s a story for another time. I am a 2400+ hour airline and senior USAF pilot. I am currently working as a first officer on Airbus A319/320/321s for Delta Air Lines and as a traditional guardsman for the Alabama Air National Guard. Back when I was on Active Duty with the USAF, I was an instructor and evaluator pilot in the RC/OC/WC-135 at Offutt AFB, NE specializing in the Constant Phoenix program. I was also an instructor and evaluator pilot on the T-6A Texan II at Columbus AFB, MS. I have extensive experience in global intelligence/surveillance/and reconnaissance (ISR) operations and pilot instruction both in an operational squadron and in primary flight training. I try to be a good leader both in the cockpit and on the ground. I have a large breadth of experience covering standardization and evaluation, safety, scheduling (squadron and wing levels), aerial event organization, and airspace management. I am not looking to leave Delta or the Air Guard until I retire. Any advice or tips are appreciated. Good flying stories are always welcome.
