At Orangehaus Records, I worked as a staff producer and audio engineer to develop client's goals and help make them a reality through the recording process. This often involved working with artists in Orangehaus's in-house studios, or providing professional audio/video recordings of on-campus events. I had the privilege to work with artists in a variety of genres, including pop, rock, folk, country, musical theatre and hip-hop. Orangehaus's studios gave me extensive experience using a ProTools HD system, as well as gear from companies such as API and Universal Audio.

Greater Nashville Area, Tn

As a summer intern at Rhythm House Music (a co-venture between Warner/Chappell and Roc Nation), my responsibilities included updating holds/cuts lists, sitting in on pitch meetings, greeting A-list artists and writers, searching catalogs for pitching songs, and stocking and organizing the office. I worked directly for Rhythm House founder Jesse Frasure and Warner/Chappell VP of A&R BJ Hill, often providing personal assistant duties and learning from their experience. Over the course of the summer, I also had the opportunity to sit in on a recording session of artist Lauren Alaina at Blackbird Studios as well as attend a number one party and CMT Award Show afterparties.

At Reardon Auditorium, I mixed bands and helped with set-up and load-in for various events and concerts at this national touring venue. I mixed at least once a week, building on my skill set as not only a studio engineer but also a live engineer. I have been fortunate to help with audio for artists such as Jon McLaughlin, the Newsboys, Sidewalk Prophets, and Tenth Avenue North. I also regularly play at events in this auditorium, and recently played keys and led the band for a campus charity concert titled Encore that drew almost 1,000 people in attendance.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

I played keyboards for the Anderson Preparatory Academy's show choir during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. We toured during weekends with the choir to competitions all around the state, and in 2017, we competed in the US Midwest Show Choir finals in Lebanon, Illinois. This experience gave me a chance to play keys on a professional level with accomplished musicians, and pushed me in my musicianship and time management skills.

Cincinnati, Ohio

During this internship, I gained valuable real-world experience in a professional business environment of a Fortune 500 company. I was tasked with looking at the problem of resource allocation for underwriters in the Personal Lines department. In response to this issue, I created an adaptable Microsoft Excel model for management. This model showed various factors that influence productivity, from territory distribution to number of phone calls.. The data was displayed in a visual layout of graphs and charts, and could be regularly updated with fresh data. At the end of my internship, this model was being used by senior management in Personal Lines as a helpful tool when deciding where to allocate employees and territories.
