    My original role with SIG was to be a project manager for the Michigan Learning Channel project, which I successfully brought online despite significant obstacles to infrastructure, configuration, and vendor problems. This channel now provides educational content to students that were left without sufficient access to high speed internet during the pandemic and has received multiple awards from outside organizations. I am incredibly proud to have been a part of this project.After my transition to IT Director, I was primarily responsible for all internal IT processes and procedures. Onboarding/Offboarding employees, maintaining core network gear, responding to issues within the environment, configure and manage multiple AWS accounts/instances, and be the point person for all IT related matters.During my time as IT Director I spear-headed multiple projects that improved the quality of IT services available at SIG. For one, I redesigned the network to be more resilient and brought in fiber based internet services as well as LTE backup services to maintain our connectivity to the internet no matter what, I built multiple solutions for internal projects that included building databases from scratch and maintaining those systems in a secure fashion, I also implemented a cloud backup solution that protected our Sharepoint, OneDrive, and Salesforce environments that gave us peace of mind regarding data loss and protection. I also lead the migration from a single OneDrive solution to a full featured Sharepoint deployment that allowed for granular permissions along with active logging of all activities on the Sharepoint drive. All of this has been done in the last 6 months under my guidance and direction.

    Currently working as a Windows and VMware platform engineer for a biomedical company with multiple datacenters around the world. One of my specific roles is to facilitate and manage the migration of their 4.x environment to 5.1 by creating customized migration documentation relative to each datacenter and training platform engineers on best practices related to those migrations. This run-book was created by taking raw data from rvtools or custom created scripting and formulating the specific needs of the device in question. This was then used to create the timeline for management review followed by migration team dissemination. I was also responsible for providing in-window support for any issues that may arise during a migration, however this was not a usual occurrence.
