Included reviewing work of 3 direct reports (assistant financial accountant and 2 treasury assistants) and 1 indirect report (accounts payable manager).• Preparation of monthly consolidation for reporting to US parent company including US GAAP and purchase accounting adjustments.• Preparation and review of cash flow forecasting and monthly balance sheet reviews.• Research for and preparation of technical accounting papers including finance leases, transition to FRS 102, restructuring costs.• Producing audited financial statements for UK based BPP companies under UK GAAP• Ad hoc projects including analysis and recommendation of property leasing options, transition to new online banking system, review of revenue recognition for various university courses.• Preparation of UK and US quarterly tax reporting to parent company along with annual UK Tax returns and quarterly UK VAT returns to HMRC.• Liaising with external parties including the bank, tax authority and insurance brokers.

Key Responsibilities • In charge of day to day accounting, including reviewing work of two indirect reports (accounts payable administrator & accounts receivable administrator) and providing other 4RF staff with assistance.• Producing monthly consolidated financial reporting package for management and the Board of directors which included performing balance sheet reconciliations and producing monthly accounts for the parent company and its two trading subsidiaries. • Producing audited annual consolidated financial statements for 4RF Limited (NZ based) under IFRS and financial statements for 4RF Communications (Europe) Limited (UK based) under UK GAAP. • Management accounting analysis on areas such as average selling price and product costs presented to my manager and the CEO on a monthly basis.

Travelling in South America for 3 months
