Experienced Engineer with 15 years of experience in the Defense & Space industry. Skilled in working independently or in a team environment. Strong engineering professional with a history of meeting or exceeding yearly expectations to support company objectives and year end goals. Currently possess a US DOD Top Secret security clearance. In my current role, I am the lead engineer for the Material Review Board (MRB) group to help disposition defective hardware. I am the liaison engineer between the manufacturing site and the design groups for the different variants that are produced. I work with a multi-functional and multi-cultural group in a fast-paced and technical environment to ensure product leaving the factory is compliant to the engineering requirements and will meet or exceed customer expectations. I am the lead IPT (Integrated Product Team) engineer for multiple suppliers overseeing any issues that may arise and how to mitigate them once they do arise. I work with our design groups on conceptual designs and how they play into the manufacturing process to understand if the designs will work and what would need to be done to make them work. Work engineering changes to specifications and engineering drawings to adjust requirements as need to better the ever-changing manufacturing process. I work with our development teams to take the conceptual design for new variants and help transition them to production with the building of test missile to ensure all aspects of the design function as intended and to the requirements. This includes BOM corrections, SW/FW upgrades, and any design issues that were not seen during design phases. I like to take on challenges that encourage me to learn and grow my knowledge and skillsets then use that to help others around me to grow.
