Key responsibilities and achievements:• Full contract management for two regional enterprise based ERDF programmes from 2018-2023. Responsibilities include: development of systems and delivery models to ensure compliance with stringent ERDF regulations, management of twelve delivery partners and external consultants, financial management and management of performance against a range of targets across the consortium and development, management of the procurement of external resources/consultants and the delivery of a marketing strategy for the project. • Development of the two aforementioned ERDF Business Cases worth approximately £2 million each. I had full responsibility for the development of Business Case narrative, financial and output profiles, partnership development and negotiations with MHCLG through to completion.• Successful development of funding applications for several UKSPF applications. This included an enterprise project in Sunderland that required a Treasury Green Book compliant grant application alongside a smaller grant application to Gateshead Council and a range of tender responses to other UKSPF procurements.• Development activities for the projects including representational work at a variety of platforms including the North East Growth Hub Provider Network as its Chair, Tees Valley Business Compass Steering Group, Tees Valley Business Summit (including its Steering Groups), Durham 2sday events etc.

Policy and Funding Officer (June 2007 - March 2013)ERDF Programme Compliance Manager 0.6 FTE (June 2011 - December 2015)New Enterprise Allowance 0.4 FTE (March 2013 - December 2015)My role was split between two sites and responsibilities included:Project management on behalf of North East Enterprise Agency Ltd: I have developed ERDF compliant delivery models and systems from initiation for a company who had never previously held a European contract to ensure eleven delivery partners maintain compliance to all elements of stringent ERDF requirements. Other responsibilities include: maintaining an up to date knowledge of regulations, management and liaison of delivery partners, development of linkages with other business support providers, programme evaluation, financial and budget management and claim compilations.Management of New Enterprise Allowance programme in Durham and Tees Valley where I was responsible for contract performance across eight delivery partners.Development of new proposals and tenders on behalf of CDC Enterprise Agency, Derwentside Enterprise Agency and consortiums including North East Enterprise Agency Ltd.
