HAAL is an exceptional band enriched by a multimedia experience. My role was to enhance it with live motion design. Quick thinking and improvisation was key to due to each venue and events unique set up. I produced hours of motion graphics, blending my film education with motion graphics to complement the music; These were narrative pieces that added depth to the performance. It was a fusion of my background in film and passion for digital media, allowing me to create immersive stories.

I picked up small contract jobs to create motion graphics for adverts. One of my projects was creating graphics for Most Wanted that was utilised at O2 Academy Edinburgh.

My time at Feed provided me with my first insight into how a professional team based creative career could look like. During my time here, I worked closely with the in-house illustrator to take his designs and move them into a motion-based format. I was privileged to complete work that is used by dBs University and a variety of companies.

Due to the level of our work I am proud to say that our small team won Tesco Mobile's phone shop of the year award in our first year of operating- 2017.

In college, I crafted custom PCs and repaired phones, catering to gamers and those less tech-savvy. I focused on understanding what each person needed, picked the right parts for their budget, and then either upgraded, fixed, or built their systems from scratch. Along the way, I brought hundreds of phones back to life.

This role was a deep dive into the web design industry, advancing my skills and understanding beyond my initial experience. It was a hands-on opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals, work on real projects, and contribute to online experiences.

At the age of 13, I started my own game and web hosting venture. My budget was limited to my savings from my previous car washing endeavors and so I got to work teaching myself how to create everything that I knew I wanted. This marked the start of me learning how to code in HTML and CSS, how to operate and run Ubuntu servers, and delving into the world of e-commerce platforms. Although my plans might have been a bit too ambitious for my age it was a fantastic experience and I still build on the lessons it put down for me.

Here I spent time within the South West Water's internal IT department, shadowing different areas of operation, helping out with tasks that were delegated to me, and observing routine lead meetings. These experiences totaled up to giving me a good insight into how a big business' computer department works together.
