- Design manager for two £multi-million decommissioning bids. Leading all engineering activities to deliver two target price bids in a prime-sub contracting arrangement. Coordination of partner sub-contractors in a Systems Engineering approach to deliver a homogenised engineering design. - Lead Engineer for a £multi-million design project for a UK defence contract (Circa £30M over project duration). Covering the engineering design and substantiation of a large-scale, safety critical Distributed Control System. Leading an EC&I design team of engineers and designers of 12 persons to work towards the project’s delivery milestones.Providing requirements capture, communicated through a Basis of Design. High-level functional design deliverables produced includes, P&IDs, BCDs, S&IDD, SLDs, Cause and Effect Diagrams and Equipment Schedules.Shaped the project delivery philosophy through a close working relationship with the client and management of contracted deliverables.

Engineering Manager for a number of large projects. Responsible for the project's technical solution from 'cradle to grave'.The majority of my projects are for EdF, NDA and ITER.Designed very large mechanical apparatus for ITER - Heavy Nuclear Doors, allowing access into the tokomak. Delivered presentations to a large team of stakeholders in Cadarach, France. Managed the technical output of a team of 12 highly experienced engineers.Designed remotely operated equipment for nuclear reactor intervention - Bleed Hole Drilling package drilled holes from the inside of a 108mm ID tube, 10m into a nuclear reactor. I was the lead engineer, managing a small team of specialist remote operations engineers. I designed the drilling package from a 'blank sheet,' built, tested and implemented the solution on a nuclear station within 12 months.
