Field usage of JOCAS II accounts for approximately $2 Billion a year in billings.Developer on the Integrity@SPS project, a Powerbuilder based project that connects to a Sybase Server to validate DoD contracting documents. Since inception in 1999, it saved the Air Force millions and has been expanded to be a DoD wide required application. Duties included software development of new features as well as maintenance issues; handling customer technical support issues; Sybase 12.5 Database Administrative Tasks.Wrote an automated backup routine to maintain additional backups of the Integrity@SPS code on another server as well as on a local machine in case of main server failure.

Deputy Team Lead for the Ohio side of the Brio Intelligence Engineering Development team, responsible for a wide variety of code within the Brio Intelligence product. The software was developed in Visual C++ using Rational tools for testing & CM support. Duties included testing and maintenance for the existing release and design & development of future releases. Wrote build utilities to automate local rebuild processes, including pulling data from servers, compiling and verifying compilation success. These utilities provided a significant reduction in personnel time and reduced overall product development costs.

(formerly Heidelberg Finishing Systems)Provided software engineering support and leadership for the Finishing Systems products in the Product Performance Group. Responsibilities included quoting software upgrades and ongoing software maintenance to Bindery Line Controller software products, and scheduling the quoted work, balanced against maintenance tasks. Project Lead for the Sustaining Engineering Group, responsible for organizing work for up to 7 other employees and contractors. This group maintained the software products in both the Bindery and Newspaper Machine Controller product lines. The code was developed in C on UNIX workstations to be run on a real-time UNIX kernel. Project Lead for the BPS Redesign Team, leading a team of 3 people in a successful effort to redesign a Windows NT based system developed in Visual C++ and Powerbuilder that connects to a Microsoft SQL Server Database as well as communicating to the Bindery Line Controllers via TCP.

Duties in the Avionics and Electronic Warfare Division included coding, testing and integrating various subprograms for the user interface of an embedded avionics system. Maintained SofTool's Change and Configuration Control (CCC) program, used to assist in Configuration Management.Wrote CM build automation scripts for regular weekly system rebuilds.Served as VAX custodian, where my duties included upgrading and downgrading the VAX network for classified processing, booting various VAX systems including MicroVAX’s and VAX-8650s, monitoring access to classified labs, and managing VAX tape drive usage.Team Leader for the company’s Lotus Notes development work
