My position involved scanning and editing a variety of materials including bound books of the Baptist Standard newsletter, poems and yearbooks for the purposes of digital archiving. During my time at the Riley I worked with a variety of scanning machines including the Zeutschel V, Book Cradle and Longarm.Used Excel to track project progress and information used in creation of finding aid.

Wrote and edited instruction manuals relating to formation of in-house Bible studies. Created and edited pamphlets intended for publication and distribution to employees and the local community.Built the company website. Created instruction manuals to help employees use new computer programs.

Reprocessed archival documents for better organization and created finding aids for the Theresa Seay papers and the Don Grisham papers. Photographed inventory of Poage 3-D items using DSLR camera and participated in meeting regarding the deaccessioning of select 3-D items.

Provided information and answered questions through guided tours of the Starship Gallery exhibit and introduced films in the giant screen theatre. Managed over $1000 in cash daily through selling tickets and other merchandise.

Created blog posts highlighting upcoming events being promoted by the Baylor Libraries. Researched and wrote a blog post detailing major milestones in the history of Moody Memorial Library as part of its anniversary celebrations.
