I started my engineering career while study electrical and computer engineering at Auburn University. I used the co-op program through PCA to begin putting that knowledge to use and improving myself for future employment. Prior to graduation, PCA offered me a full-time position in an Electrical Reliability Engineering role. My focus at PCA was reliability and maintenance of electrical drives and motors, where I became familiar with Powerflex and GE DC drives/software. After expanding on my family, I moved closer to home and took an Automation Engineering position with Constellium. Through this roll my knowledge of PLC, drives, instrumentation, and HMI have greatly improved. Continued training in these subjects has allowed me to improve as an engineer and propelled my career forward. I hope to continue learning and seeking out new experiences to enjoy this career to the fullest.
