I enjoy assisting clients to expand options for coping and healthier self-care practices, educate them on the diagnostic issues and other naturally influential factors. I have 35+ years as a frontline MSW in diverse roles with various agencies, service missions, and working with a wide range of populations. I have a special interest in serving professional helpers and healers, as well as volunteers, regarding self-care, career planning, review and longevity. Also, I strive to integrate the use of mindfulness and meditation, creativity, art, music, and writing combined with different therapeutic models and tools. My on-going learning emphasizes issues of Adults with ADHD and the the factors of influenced on an individual's Bereavement process.My social work career in service delivery settings and related needs include group homes, long-term treatment programs, acute psychiatric hospital programs, outpatient mental health clinics, substance use treatment programs, hospice in both social work and bereavement counselor roles, accredited continuing education, and social work education. I also have a strong interest In creativity, and fostering social and professional networking and support via several Facebook pages and groups that I administrate. I’ve conducted case-work, facilitated therapy and advocacy along the entire age spectrum, and have created and offered workshops on various topics related to clinical needs and service professionals. I have had senior professionals in related fields of expertise refer and compliment the therapeutic work with patients.
