Will Peterman is a Los Angeles native, who, through no fault of his own, grew up in the television business. His dad has been a TV writer for thirty years and forced three-year-old Will to go to an Easter Egg hunt on the White House lawn on “Murphy Brown,” six-year-old Will to jump into a YMCA pool on “Suddenly Susan” and fourteen year old Will to appear on “Hannah Montana” as a pre-Justin Bieber rapper named White Diamond. Realizing he’d hit his ceiling as an actor, Peterman tried to leave the business behind, studying history and English at Loyola Marymount University and Imperial College in London. But heredity is destiny and he soon found himself doing PA work on shows at Nickelodeon, Amazon Prime and VH1. Tired of being the one bringing writers lunch he started writing himself between driving for Lyft and bartending. Dad, sensing he had leverage, was able to hire Will at a bargain rate as a writer’s assistant on “Play It Again,” a Disney Channel pilot script, and young Peterman contributed so much to the project that his name is now on the title page as a co-writer. In late 2019 Will and Steve, along with Annie DeYoung, created and sold the half hour pilot “How To Raise Your Parents” to Nickelodeon before the world and the industry was brought to a screeching halt due to Covid-19. In 2021 Will helped rewrite the Hallmark original movie, “A Royal Queens Christmas” and even though he is uncredited, it still got him into the WGA. On his own, Peterman has written multiple solo scripts and is currently working on several exciting projects which will all just knock your socks off. Overall, he’s a pretty swell guy and he once tore an apple in half with his bare hands.
