After displaying two of my designs at the New Designers Show 2015 in London, I started to spend time working with companies to develop my designs to a manufacture level and develop a range of products for me to manufacture individually.

I am currently working for a small/medium sized furniture company producing high-end classic domestic furniture. My role in this is predominantly as a production manager/senior furniture maker but I work closely with the designer to generate concepts and make improvements to designs for customers and the craftsmen making them. I supervise a team of makers and finishers to make sure quality is to a high standard and that jobs are completed by agreed delivery days

Undertaking part time ad hoc clerical work in a GP surgery

I spent a year working with an autistic child to teach him to play the drum kit.I am also a member of several paid bands, currently including the “Ellie Gill Band”, “Rola & the Blinks” and “The Fireflys”, performing at private & public functions including weddings, parties, charity events and concerts.

Placements with a small bespoke joinery and furniture company working for high end clients.I worked with the company for 2 years in the summer holidays, which included helping make kitchens, doors, tables, staircases and other technical products. These products were high quality timber based products.
