As an IT Technician at Administrative Tribunals Support Service of Canada, I ensure the maintenance of a strong IT infrastructure and a responsive service. Currently, I am also advancing my education in the Computer Systems Technology - Cybersecurity and Networking COOP program at Collège La Cité, honing skills that directly enhance my professional capacity.My expertise includes implementing various network protocols such as DHCP, OSPF,BGP, HSRP, SNMP, Trunking/Access, and many other important protocols. I have proper knowledge on implementing and troubleshooting routes as well as creating ACL’s to manage access and ensure a secure infrastructure. I have a bit of knowledge on assigning certain wireless security protocols and am familiar with calculating the forward gain of an antenna and the signal strength in cables and wires.I am well-versed in troubleshooting routers,switches or any sort of networking device, identifying the root causes of network failures, and resolving connectivity issues to optimize performance. Currently, I am deepening my knowledge in cybersecurity, specifically Kali Linux, where I am learning to analyze network traffic and identify vulnerabilities such as open ports to bolster system security. I am also familiar with analysing tcp/udp packets.Additionally, I have a working knowledge of SQL and some hands-on experience with Python for automation and scripting. My passion lies in continuously evolving my skills to stay at the forefront of network security and infrastructure management.My competencies in asset and time management enable me to deliver efficient and effective solutions. With bilingual proficiency in English and French, I bridge communication gaps, fostering a collaborative environment.
