I grew up in Los Angeles and played baseball for most of my young life. I also studied and wrote music. After graduating from Palos Verdes High School, I attended the University of Oregon and graduated with a degree in English, after which I traveled extensively. Seville, Spain; Houston, Texas; Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts; Clarksville, Tennessee; McMinnville, Oregon; Sebastopol, California, now settling down in San Pedro, California. I believe that my empathetic approach to doing business has been borne from the highly varied variety of job types I have undertaken since graduating and in my travels around the world. I have worked in construction, landscaping, as a high school teacher, a camp counselor, a wine harvest worker, a performing musician, as a butcher’s assistant, a line cook, and now I am a licensed real estate agent with Vista Sotheby’s, and a property and casualty broker with Post Insurance. My hobbies include practicing and performing music, cooking, reading, and care taking animals. My family and I have many dogs, cats, horses, and chickens and that is how I enjoy spending my free time: care taking animals, cooking, listening to and playing music, and reading. While new to the business of real estate and insurance, my fundamental experiences living with a culture not my own, as well as an understanding of various lines of work, both blue and white collar and the people that work them, lend me a studied approach to how I conduct business.
