Currently an associate at Sherrard, Roe, Voigt & Harbison in Nashville, Tennessee, Will Pugh represents clients in a wide range of practice areas spanning M&A, commercial real estate, and general corporate work. Will has been recognized as a "Best Lawyer - One to Watch" in both Commercial Litigation and Corporate Law. As a former-clerk for the Honorable Vice Chancellor Joseph R. Slights III on the Delaware Court of Chancery, Will has experience working on some of the largest corporate disputes in the world. Because of the Delaware Court of Chancery’s focus on business litigation, Will developed a specialization in business issues involving fiduciary duties and M&A law. Will regularly shares this experience with corporate boards by offering guidance regarding fiduciary duties, and he frequently works on corporate governance matters. Will also regularly represents both buyers and sellers in commercial real estate and private M&A transactions, as well as by offering general corporate governance counsel and entity formation services. Will has additional experience representing creditors in bankruptcy matters in both the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Middle District of Tennessee and, pro hac vice, in the District of Delaware. Before attending law school, Will was the Director of Strategy at atlasRFIDstore.com, an eCommerce company in Birmingham, Alabama. 2019 graduate of Vanderbilt Law School. While there, served as the Senior En Banc Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review. Graduated Order of the Coif. 2014 graduate of Wheaton College (IL) with a degree in Business & Economics, Summa Cum Laude. Minored in Spanish.
