A High Point University graduate of the Class of 2011. Majored in Strategic Communication and focused in Marketing at High Point University. I have experience with event planning and event advertisement through out my college career, and conducting advertisement sales for the High Point University Chronicle newspaper. I have served as Advertising Director for the school newspaper, the High Point Chronicle. While holding this position I handled all aspects of the newspaper: editorial, advertising, etc. Also, I was the philanthropy chair for my Fraternity: Pi Kappa Alpha. During those three years, I had to plan and promote our annual Garnet & Gold Golf Classic to raise money for the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research. While dealing with this event, I organized and arranged dates and times for the golf course, catering, obtaining sponsors and promoting the event to gain donations or players for the event. My final year as coordinator was my most successful golf tournament. I was able to raise $4,000 for The Jimmy V Foundation.
