I am a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business. I am currently working at Luana Savings Bank in Norwalk as a junior credit analyst where I help support our commercial and agricultural loan officers by analyzing their loan customer's financial information and then helping make a decision based on the risk involved. I also preform annual reviews on current loans to make sure the customer is still strong and in good standing. My past work experiences include working as a senior personal banker at Dubuque Bank and Trust, a loan officer at Palo Savings Bank, an agronomy sales intern at FS Growmark, and a crop scout intern at Nutrien Ag Solutions. Additionally, I have grown up working on a corn and bean farm my whole life, and I have even had my own crops and marketed my own grain. Through these experiences I have enhanced my knowledge of finance, credit, agriculture, and sales. I have gained the valuable experience of talking with customers face to face as well as communicating with coworkers to help make decisions in the financial world.

I was able to discuss with the customer what I had seen in their fields and what I thought was their best mode of action. Along with this, I learned many of the basic daily operations of working at a co-op. The knowledge I gained about crop health from this internship as well as the opportunities I was given to connect with customers were very valuable and will help me in my future career.
