Strong passion and curiosity for how things work, technology, business, sport, racing, bikes, and continuous improvement. The bike and the trade industry have paved my career to date.2007-2010 I competed on the UCI Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup Circuit in Europe, Canada, and America. Representing Australia in 2 World Downhill Mountain Bike Championships in Junior Men and Elite Men categories, I retired from World Cup racing to pursue another strong passion in technology and mechanics. 2010-2017 I completed an apprenticeship as a heavy vehicle diesel mechanic with South Australian Caterpillar dealer - Cavpower.During this time I won awards in my field including Apprentice of the Year and selection for DTAP - (Dealer Top Apprentice Program) competing against Caterpillar Australasian technicians in Melbourne. As a qualified diesel mechanic I chose Field Service specialising in Power Systems, diagnosing, servicing and repairing fixed plant, power generation, and marine engines.Time away from racing enabled me to view the sport and the bicycle industry from a new perspective. In 2017 I founded the company and brand WILL RIDE, South Australia’s 1st Electric Bike Specialist Retail Store, leveraging the E-bike rapid global emergence and interest. With an all star team, Will Ride specialised in E-bike Sales, Service, Hire, and Tours, growing year on year. In 2021 I was selected for ‘Force Forty’. 40 leading South Australian’s under 40 years old to assist The Department of Premier and Cabinet to attract and retain talent to SA. In 2022 Will Ride was acquired by Global Bike Manufacturer Specialized Bicycles and Components. I am currently working as an electrical apprentice in the industrial power generation field with an amazing team full of intelligence and experience, diverse work, new technology in a rapid growing company ‘All Gen Solutions’.
