Since leaving the City and joining Keystone I have been a part of the firm's rapid rise to a Top 100 law firm and its journey to become the third listed law firm in England.I head up the Operations Team at Keystone Law and ensure that our lawyers have access to top flite support services, which in turn allows them to offer a first class service to their clients. My role was originally split equally between law firm management and working with fast growth companies and high net worth individuals on matters of corporate law.On account of the rapid rise of Keystone Law to one of the top 150 law firms I gradually shifted my focus towards management. As Operations Director I am responsible for the offices, tools and processes of the firm. With the Managing Director James Knight, I am also responsible for the growth of the business both nationally and internationally. In addition I head our compliance function and client relationship management programs. As the Operations Director of one of the world’s most innovative law firms I frequently find that there are no tools commercially available to meet the firm’s needs. Accordingly a significant part of my role is in designing and overseeing the delivery of these tools and practices to support the firm’s continuing growth. This experience at the cutting edge of law has led to my speaking at numerous conferences on legal innovation, meeting with the government’s task force in this area and being recognised as a thought leader in the way law firms of the future will work.As a leader in one of the world's most talked about firms I have been lucky to learn much about the business of law in the 21st century. I frequently share this knowledge, by writing in legal publications and speaking at legal events.
