I have been in law enforcement since 1978. I retired from Middletown Police Department in 2009 but stayed as a reserve officer volunteering my time. I have stayed current on emergency management issues and have recently trained in the EOC operation center in Butler County. Was involved in the training function not only at Middletown and at Atrium Medical center but also basic police academy's since 1988. I have taken instruction skills courses in areas such as Crisis Prevention,Taser, and Train the Trainer in Radiological/Nuclear Awareness. I currently work for Atrium Medical Center campus Police. My duties involve training not only police staff but also hospital staff in areas of safety. Other duties include staffing and research in purchasing and equipment purchases as well as hospital emergency operations.
