Hello, I'm Will Schatz, a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Hildi Inc., A Division of USI Consulting Group. I've been with the organization since the Fall of 2021 and have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work with such a talented group of individuals. My primary job duty is to conduct actuarial valuations of defined benefit pension and other post-employment benefits plans, both in the public and private sectors. Other duties include salary studies, defined contribution retirement plan studies, and automation.Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, I studied mathematics at Truman State University and earned an honor of summa cum laude. I have passed three SOA exams: P, FM, and SRM, and will sit for FAM in November 2023.Other skills include:-Spanish, I earned my fluency studying abroad in Mexico and Spain;-Leadership, I served as Treasurer and Vice President of Truman State University's Spanish Club;-Music, I have played the viola since the age of 9, and have played in a variety of orchestras, some in leadership roles.
