Will Shearer is the General Counsel of Leiters, an FDA-registered 503B outsourcer of compounded sterile pharmaceutical preparations with operations in Denver, Colorado and Buena, New Jersey. Mr. Shearer resides with his family in Central Ohio.Mr. Shearer, an Ohio licensed attorney since 1994, has significant experience serving in the area of business law, both for-profit and not-for-profit. On the for-profit side, Mr. Shearer has significant expertise and experience as in-house and outside corporate and general counsel. On the not-for-profit side, Mr. Shearer has significant expertise and experience advising 501(c)(3) organizations, including initial organization, recognition of tax-exempt status, annual IRS reporting, and state charitable registration and reporting. In addition, Mr. Shearer has served as outside general counsel for a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations and has broad expertise in advising clients as to a wide range of operational and strategic matters. Mr. Shearer also has significant experience advising businesses and individuals as to tax, securities, and other areas of regulatory compliance.Mr. Shearer has also eight years of experience (full-time) as the Executive Director and Treasurer of Vineyard Community Center, a 501(c)(3) organization operating on an annual budget of approximately $2 million. Vineyard Community Center is affiliated with Vineyard Church of Columbus and provides a broad array of services to low-income families and individuals residing primarily in the Northeast quadrant of Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Shearer is also a past member of the board of directors of Recreation Unlimited Farm & Fun, a 501(c)(3) organization providing year-round programs in sports, recreation and education for individuals with disabilities and health concerns, and was a founding board member and the treasurer of Vineyard Ministries International, a 501(c)(3) organization that existed for the purpose of supporting church-planting within the national community of Vineyard churches. Mr. Shearer is the co-planter of East Denver Vineyard Church in Denver, Colorado (started in 2017).
