MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1 To support the planning and development of a professional development programme that meets the current and future needs of the wider FE sector.2 To provide training and development through a variety of delivery methods, utilising appropriate information learning technologies where appropriate.3 To engage with Skills and Education Group members and non-members to identify continuing professional development needs and promote training and development opportunities.4 To aid in the development of resources and training opportunities that are designed to support and aid improvements in the wider FE sector.5 Provide information, advice and guidance, in conjunction with relevant internal and external stakeholders, to inform decisions for future training and development.6 To contribute and support with induction, training, development and quality assurance of internal staff development activity.7 To represent the Group at relevant meetings, briefings and consultative events.

Following a reorganisation of Curriculum provision at the start of the academic year 2018-19, I have been given sole responsibility for all matters of Curriculum at the groups Dinnington Campus.

This management has tangibly lead to the successful completion of the Summer Academic Boards; the timetables being generated for the new academic year; a successful graduation ceremony and liaison with Loughborough university regarding all curriculum validations.

This role requires excellent strategic management, high levels of interpersonal skills and a diligence to quality assurance. In addition to the management responsibilities the job requires the lecturing of high quality lecturing to variety of different educational levels.

I was responsible as a representative of the company for the safety and experience of the paying school groups.

I worked as a full time lecturer of Sport Science. Within this position I had to develop and deliver high quality nutrition, physiology and research methods lectures to a variety of age and educational levels. Additionally I was a tutor to both FE and HE groups within Sport Science. As part of this role I was responsible for the pedagogic care and safeguarding of a range of different students, liaising with other members of staff, organisations and parents when required. Along with organisation of all Higher Education Provision in Sport Science I was directly responsible for the management of the Gym (Beyond Fitness) required to oversee all health and safety, staff inductions and equipment maintenance for the college gym facility.

In January 2011 I started a specialist weight loss and wellbeing consultancy in Basingstoke. I worked with individual clients helping them achieve their own weight loss and nutritional goals. Additionally, I have worked alongside Personal Trainers to help develop their own skills and aid them in helping their own clients achieve their goals.

I worked as a Nutritionist and Research Assistant for this local wellbeing charity in Farnborough. I was required to engage the public to seek their thoughts, feeling and opinions regarding the provision of exercise and wellness classes put on by the charity. This required imaginative thinking and innovative data collection methods to help gather worthwhile information from a wide range of people. All the information collected was processed and complied into reports to help gain further funding. Also I worked as a Nutritionist on several community projects, primarily on a project called Fit4Life, which was a weight loss programme for teenagers. I was involved in the charities cook and eat mums and children programme in several local primary schools as well as a healthy eating and low impact aerobics for older adults group.
