My job here was to watch the pool and make sure that nobody drowned, along with providing first aid and necessary medical response whenever injuries occurred. Although this job is not deeply connected to my ambitions in STEM, it helped me train valuable skills, such as leadership, and emergency medical response, both of which are highly important in any workplace ever. I was a leader by coaching the swim team to a championship, along with leading the new guards and teaching them the ropes.

My main role in my time here was to do two things; the first was to check out customers once they were done shopping, but the second was to give a sales pitch to the majority of the customers to try to get them to get the store's credit card. Although I didn't enjoy this job very much, i truly helped me train some valuable skills. The first is working under extreme pressure, as I'd have tons of customers and a long line to keep moving always, while giving the sales pitches to every customer. Secondly, I trained my communication skills, from both working on my sales pitch and improving it over time, and from dealing with angry customers on days where we were severely understaffed, while keeping full composure.
