I’m a creative communicator on a mission to help others connect deeply. My team and I create podcasts, films and media to help you nail your message and make every word count.My story? I grew up and accidentally became a poet. Tupac started it, slam poetry finished it. I realised the most powerful communicators stretched out every second of their time.

I write and perform spoken word poetry. My work often explores the stories of the disadvantaged, and confronts frequently unquestioned assumptions and stereotypes. I write about faith, doubt and being human in a beautiful, chaotic, messy world of contrast and contradiction. I also write fiction, and I have had both short stories and poetry published. View.

Narara

As part of the pastoral team at Narara Valley Baptist Church I developed teaching content and resources to support people in their spiritual formation, preached regularly and oversaw the PM service. In this role I exercised my passion for creating welcoming and inclusive environments where anyone could explore faith and find a place at the table.

Gosford

In this role, I created and managed a social enterprise space from the ground up, with the dual purpose of providing a place of community, culture and belonging in Gosford, while generating sustainable income for the MMAD charity. Crucial aspects of this role included developing a clear vision and overseeing its outworking, creating and managing high.

As the Chaplain at Hawker College my role involved supporting the staff and student body in a number of different ways, such as running support programs like ‘breakfast clubs’ and organising events that built a stronger community within the school. I met with a number of students on a regular basis and where necessary made referrals to counsellors or other.

In this role, I was responsible for helping disadvantaged young people develop aspirations for and pathways towards University study. To achieve this, I developed and implemented the ANU ‘Voice Poetry Slam’ program. I ran poetry slam workshops in numerous schools throughout the ACT and South Coast region, as well as hosting youth poetry slam events in.
