I am a graduate student studying physics at Miami University, with my research focus being in astrophysics. Previously, I graduated with Bachelor degrees in computer science and engineering physics. As I continue my education I hope to explore both industry and academia as possible career paths.My research experience so far has been working with Dr. Alexander in his computational astrophysics groups where we investigate implications of alternative gravitational models as a solution to the dark matter problem. We effectively create galactic rotation curves from numerical simulations in order to compare our results with results reported in the literature from other methods. Our primary focus has been QUMOND and the associated External Field Effect.
