Responsibilities within this role included: • Managing railway infrastructure components and inventory for the business delivery unit (DU) • Managing portable plant compliance for the DU• Ensure the engagement of the team and identify the development needs of individuals with frequent mandated and impromptu one-to-one performance reviews• Ensuring ongoing compliance with environmental legislation• Act as Client or Project Manager for building projects within the DU• Reduce waste and rationalise unnecessary spend in the form of various initiatives, including inventory amnesties and extractions of surplus materials.
