Ensure that the Material Support Manager team delivers expertise in routinely reviewing maintenance depot inventory profiles, to mitigate adverse impact on train performance. Identify and rationalise slow-moving inventory to reduce current and future financial liability.Design, implement and manage a robust strategy to capture national "off-line" inventory. Promoting significant cost savings to the business and encouraging Network Rail’s renewability visionManage and ensure that the national audit team accurately;Perform site safety inspections. Document findings and ensure that maintenance depots are safe and compliant with legislation and Network Rail standardsSupport the safe storage of materials through offering expert guidance Chair post audit closure meetings to discuss inventory discrepancies, COSHH, DSEAR and HSE non-compliances.
