About Will Stapp
Hey Folks-I first came to Fairbanks as an Infantry Soldier in the 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT) in late 2006. I volunteered to deploy to Iraq in early 2007, joining the 4th Brigade 25th Infantry (Airborne) out of Anchorage Alaska in march of that year. I fought with 3/509th Parachute Infantry Regiment in Karma/Fallujah and Northern Babil Province Iraq. I was wounded in August of 2007, returned to duty and would deploy to Iraq again in 2009-2010 with 1-36 Infantry, 1st Brigade 1st Armored Division. I left the army at the end of 2010 and with my wife Naomi returned to Alaska. I have worked as an Insurance Agent in the employee benefits space for over 10 years and have had the privilege of traveling all over the State from Unalaska to Anaktuvuk Pass and beyond. I am active in various service organizations in Fairbanks like the Sunrisers Rotary Club.
