I worked as an editor at Social360, a social media monitoring company. My tasks involved compiling several daily reports, as well as leading or assisting on longer form tasks such as quarterly analysis or large ‘due diligence’ reports. This involved condensing large amounts of data into legible and understandable forms while under strict time pressures. Given the wide range of clients, along with their individual demands and preferences for reports, this job taught me the merits of administrative organisation and timekeeping discipline. I was also in charge of various office admin duties, including organising supplies, deliveries, and was frequently in contact with senior members of client companies, necessitating a crucial degree of care in communications.
