I've always loved helping others and problem solving. More specifically, problem solving in order to help others. This interest, combined with my persistence and dedication to a particular cause, builds the foundation for the servant leader that I strive to be. This is no novelty concept to me: when I began as a high school cross country team captain, I inherited a team where I was the only returning varsity runner. Then, throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, I had to work to ensure the safety and success of the team. My efforts were rewarded: we finished 7th in the state as a team, the 2nd-highest in school history. At Georgia Tech, I served as Associate Member Educator, where I developed young college men into the leaders of tomorrow, for the fraternity and professional world alike. This objective was possible only through the countless hours spent carefully navigating the challenges of planning & executing academic responsibilities, community service, and social events all for the development of the next future leaders. In the workplace, I took the same approach of using problem solving to help others: most recently in the Quality & Continuous Improvement team at Sidel, Inc. Given the difficult project of standardizing and automating reporting for the training of service engineers on the machinery with the latest technology, I collaborated and listened to 20+ colleagues around the world for their expertise. I merged their knowledge and animated their ideas with the creation of a 13-paged Power BI report used weekly by the head American leadership team to properly allocate resources.Earlier in my career, as a member of the Business Operations team at NCR. I was tasked with modifying a weekly operations report that gave different industry leaders the information they needed to make critical business decisions. By listening to requests of the industry leaders and brainstorming solutions with my coworkers, I led the creation and expansion of a critical piece of the weekly operations report that prompted the viewership of the report to increase from 10-20 viewers to over 120 viewers. These examples are a few of many that exemplify what I provide to an organization: a dedicated and collaborative problem-solver focused on helping others with the skills and traits to develop into a leader by example.
